Boris Trofimov's workshop: Art project Velimir Khlebnikov's "Zangezi"

For the 135th anniversary of Velimir Khlebnikov, Boris Trofimov's creative workshop (Institute of business and design) presents an art project: a bilingual publication of supernovel "Zangezi". The Russian and English parts are combined under one cover, just as the star language unites different worlds. Languages meet each other and meet in the middle of the book, where a large typographic block is placed: "Architecture from words". This is working with the Zangezi sound system: an attempt to visually comprehend the super-message by means of typography.

A new approach to creating visual parallels is demonstrated by young artists of Boris Trofimov's workshop. Fifteen participants, including supervisors, put their impressions together in a publication that becomes an extensive artistic statement in a universal visual language.
