Giovanni Fiderio, Maria Vittoria Trovato / Zaratan

Zaratan, a living creature described in the book of imaginary beings by Jorge Luis Borges, becomes an independent space for books, photography and music in Siracusa (Sicily, Italy), through the collaboration of Giovanni Fiderio, violinist in the bands Tapso II and Mashrooms, and Maria Vittoria Trovato, freelance documentary photographer. Opened in September 2018, Zaratan is a bookshop and a place for workshops, readings, small concerts and exhibitions with the idea of supporting and giving space to local and international creative people.
